Half of the participants were university and graduate students, with diverse and diverse backgrounds gathered together. Participants from Japan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Cuba shared perspectives that transcended generations and national borders. This event served as a platform for dialogue, learning, and mutual understanding for the future, while also listening to past experiences in Nagasaki, Okinawa and Kazakhstan, and how they have been preserved. It provided an opportunity to learn about the environmental impacts of ongoing wars and nuclear testing worldwide, and became a space to recognize one’s own role in passing on a better environment to the next generation.
